How to replace the graphite ring of the high-temperature rotary joint? Follow the product manual of the rotary joint manufacturer to disassemble the rotary joint. First, take out the circular sealing ring, use a special tool to evenly rotate the pressure ring, and then take out the connecting plate. Loosen the hexagonal bolt of the joint crystallizer.

After the crystallizer is divided into two pieces, remove it from the mold table and you will see the circular ring between the two pieces and remove it. Remove the crystallizer and place it on the rotating table in reverse. Use a heating tool to heat the crystallizer, causing the graphite ring to automatically detach and remove when heated. Replace the graphite ring with a new one, align it with the cleaner, place it properly, press and heat the graphite ring, and then apply a layer of oil; Wait until the graphite ring cools down, clean the components in reverse order, and then reinstall them onto the joint. When installing and disassembling, pay attention to aligning the high-temperature rotary joint to ensure concentricity and avoid leakage during use.
When it is a high-temperature environment, grooves may appear in the middle part of the graphite ring surface. Non balanced seals are common, such as tearing the surface of the graphite ring and bonding it to the moving ring under pressure and temperature. The protrusions of this bonding wear the graphite ring during operation, which is the cause of groove marks. Changing the cooling flushing to a balanced seal can solve this problem. Wear on the inner edge of the graphite ring often occurs in a high-temperature sealed environment. The sealing cover has cooling water, and at high temperatures, the cooling water will scale, which will wear off the inner edge of the graphite ring of the rotary joint. At the same time, the space between the rotating ring and the shaft sleeve of the high-temperature rotary joint will also be filled with scale and lose its compensation ability; It is recommended that everyone switch their current cooling water to softened water or low-pressure steam to reduce the occurrence of scaling.
