LX86M-244 rotary joints
The maintainability and replaceability of the embedded rotating joint of the bearing are good. In the past, bearing damage, especially when used in a horizontal position, caused by vibration or coolant leakage, has become a problem. The rotary joint series has achieved a longer service life due to its improved bearing support and discharge structure

Diameter and Interface: The nominal diameter is about 16mm (M16 thread is common), with standard flange connection, suitable for spindle center water outlet/center air outlet system.
Working pressure: 0.5-7 MPa (cutting fluid), some data mentions up to 20 MPa (specific sealing configuration needs to be confirmed); Dry air or oil mist conditions are usually ≤ 1 MPa.
Maximum speed: ≤ 15000 rpm (some promotions claim 50000 rpm, but this value is mostly applicable to bearingless types such as ESX20V); The LX86M is an embedded bearing with a tested reliability limit of 15000 rpm.
Sealing technology: Using silicon carbide to silicon carbide or ceramic sealing pairs, it has self-lubricating properties, can resist impurities mixed in cutting fluid, and supports dry rotation without coolant (with automatic sealing and closing mechanism).
Fluid channel: single channel (main channel), some derivative models can be equipped with auxiliary air channels (such as MQL), but LX86M-244 standard is for single channel delivery of coolant/oil mist.
Structural features: Concealed bearings (with built-in support bearings), improving rigidity and lifespan; Improve drainage structure to reduce leakage risk; The shell is mostly made of alloy steel, and the sealing area is wear-resistant.

The maintainability and replaceability of the embedded rotating joint of the bearing are good. In the past, bearing damage, especially when used in a horizontal position, caused by vibration or coolant leakage, has become a problem. The rotary joint series has achieved a longer service life due to its improved bearing support and discharge structure. This seal can withstand a mixture of fragments and foreign objects. Using highly wear-resistant and self-lubricating silicon carbide, it can be used with coolant for a long time in environments where debris mixing is unavoidable. If not used with coolant, it can also operate at high speed. In high-speed operation without coolant, the heat generated on the seal becomes a challenge. The LX series is equipped with an automatic sealing operation/closing device, which can even be used for high-speed operation without coolant.
