Flexible graphite material is the most commonly used material for making sealing rings for high-temperature rotary joints and has been widely applied. Flexible graphite material belongs to pure graphite material and does not have adhesives or bonding materials. The performance of flexible graphite is not limited by bonding materials and has the following characteristics:

1. Flexible graphite materials have excellent corrosion resistance and chemical stability against general chemical solvents, petroleum products, esters, steam and other media.
2. Flexible graphite materials have good high temperature resistance. The temperature range for the use of flexible graphite materials is below 400 ℃ in oxidizing media and -200 ℃~1600 ℃ in non oxidizing media.
3. Flexible graphite materials have good resilience, airtightness, radiation resistance, and self-lubricating properties.
