High pressure rotary joints use relatively high environmental pressure, and metal hoses can be compressed and stretched. However, if not installed correctly, it will be damaged.

In previous articles, we also discussed the installation sequence of rotary joint accessories, where metal hoses serve as compensating connections in high-pressure rotary rings. There are three types of metal hose lengths. The compression length is the length at which the hose is compressed to a position where it cannot be further compressed. The installation length is the displacement of the high-pressure swivel ring. Half the length, with the length of the tube in the middle position; The extension length refers to the length of the pipeline that cannot be further extended.
In order to install metal hoses according to the actual situation, sometimes the high-pressure rotary joint is in the middle position when installing metal hoses. The position of the hose should bear axial loads in both directions of movement, otherwise it can only move in one direction, which will have a negative impact. The strength of high-pressure rotary joints will shorten their service life.
